These terms apply to bookings made with Phoenix Travel, the trading name of Phoenix Travel Contract Hire Ltd (company number 1697855), licensed as a private hire operator by West Lindsey District Council under licence PO2602. All journeys are pre-booked private hire — our vehicles cannot be hailed in the street or picked up from a rank.
A booking is confirmed once we have accepted it by phone, text, email or through this website. Please give accurate pickup and destination addresses, passenger numbers, luggage and any child seat or accessibility requirements. We may decline or cancel a booking we cannot safely carry out.
Quoted fares are fixed for the journey booked. Local metered work is charged on the West Lindsey District Council tariff. Changes on the day — extra stops, a changed destination, additional waiting time, or extra passengers needing a larger vehicle — may change the price, and we will tell you before proceeding where possible. Payment is due at the end of the journey unless you travel on an approved account.
Please give as much notice as you can. Cancellations shortly before pickup, or a no-show at the pickup point, may be charged to cover the driver's time. Free waiting time is 10 minutes for local pickups and 45 minutes after landing for airport arrivals; after that, waiting time is charged at the applicable tariff.
We monitor flights where a flight number is supplied and adjust pickup times for delays at no extra charge. You remain responsible for allowing enough time to check in; we recommend the airline's stated arrival window.
Seat belts must be worn. Smoking, vaping and open alcohol are not permitted. Drivers may end a journey where behaviour is unsafe or abusive. Soiling or damage to a vehicle may be charged for cleaning or repair.
Home-to-school and SEN routes are operated under contract with the commissioning local authority. Route changes, absences and eligibility are managed with the authority and the school. Please tell us of an absence as early as possible so the vehicle is not sent unnecessarily.
Access to the driver app is for drivers and staff engaged by Phoenix Travel only. Accounts are personal, must not be shared, and access ends when the working relationship ends. Drivers must not operate the app while driving; devices must be mounted and used lawfully.
We carry out our services with reasonable care and skill and are insured for hire and reward. We are not liable for losses outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures or flight changes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
This website includes images generated using Base44’s AI tools. Copyright protection and rights to reuse AI-generated images depend on applicable law, the provider’s terms and any third-party rights. Generation or publication alone does not establish exclusive copyright, and Phoenix Travel does not claim exclusive ownership of every AI-generated image.
Where Phoenix Travel Contract Hire Ltd holds rights in an image, branding or human-created edits, those rights are reserved. This website grants no automatic licence to those rights or to third-party material. Any permission we give is limited to rights we actually hold; lawful copyright exceptions remain unaffected.
To ask about an image’s source and any permissions we can provide, email info@phoenix.taxi or call 01427 802315. Include the image URL or the page where it appears, your name or organisation, the intended use, where it will be published and how long you need to use it.
We will confirm whether we hold rights that can be licensed before offering permission. Any licence we can grant, attribution requirements, duration and applicable fee will be agreed in writing. We cannot guarantee that AI-generated images are unique or free of third-party rights.
